Synopsis:

A home invasion story that highlights the lengths people will go to for money. A former politician and his lover are held hostages in their own home by a psychotic young man who breaks in for robbery. The longer they are held, the more deceptions come to the surface as each of the three characters get to know more about themselves and each other.

Notes:

Garconera was filmed in one location starring 3 actors only, a theme uncommon and new to the Egyptian cinema. The movie received positive reviews by the critics for the originality of the theme and was well received by audience topping the box office charts season releases. Garconera is adapted from the Hollywood title “Trespass” starring Nicholas Cage & Nicole Kidman.
